Deep in the Fields: Take a Breath. Something Beautiful Is Growing.
Picture a stage.
The last few weeks, it has been packed. Too many actors, too many monologues happening at once, the lighting all wrong, everyone speaking over each other. You have been in the audience gripping your armrests wondering when intermission was coming.
Here is what I want you to know before we go any further.
Intermission is here.
Take a breath. Let your shoulders drop. Notice that the air smells a little different this week… a little like spring rain after weeks of thunder. That is not an accident. That is the sky doing something unusually kind.
I am telling you: this week, the entire cast just shifted. Let me introduce you to who showed up.
Uranus Just Walked Into a New Room
Uranus entered Gemini on April 25th, and if you felt something change in the air over the weekend, that was why.
Uranus has been in Taurus since 2018. For eight years, Uranus played a particular role: the actor who keeps rearranging the furniture without asking. The body had opinions: about what we were eating, drinking, tolerating. Money shifted. Stability got redefined. It was NOT gentle work, and a lot of us are walking out of that chapter tired in ways we are still learning to name.
Now Uranus has picked up its things and moved into a new costume. Same Uranus, different role.
In Gemini, this actor is quicker, more curious, less heavy. Information moves faster. Communication opens up. The way we think, talk, and share is about to go through seven years of beautiful, sometimes dizzying, renovation. We are only in week one. There is no rush to understand it all yet. Just notice the buzz. Notice the shift.

The Cast This Week: Who Is On Stage
I said intermission, not intermission with no activity. The cast this week is doing quiet, important work. Let me walk you through who is where.
Venus is our lead this week. She is the actress who walks into every difficult room and somehow says the right thing. This week she is working overtime: trining Pluto on Tuesday, then settling into a graceful agreement with Saturn that holds through Friday. She is not flashy right now. She is effective. She is the kind of energy that gets contracts signed, collaborations named, and long-overdue truths spoken with enough warmth that they actually land.
Watch for Tuesday especially. Venus and Pluto in conversation means the thing you have been turning over in your mind without quite saying out loud.
It may find its words…Let it.
Saturn is in the wings this week, and that is actually good news. When Saturn shows up quietly rather than center stage, it is building infrastructure. Long-term agreements made this week hold. Commitments you make this week have weight. If something feels ready to formalize, trust that.
Mercury is approaching Chiron. The messenger is sitting down next to the wound and asking: what do we need to say about this? More on that in a moment.
And then there is the Scorpio Full Moon arriving on Friday, May 1st. The Full Moon in Scorpio asks the one question everyone has been politely not asking. And this year, with Jupiter in Cancer holding the door open and Venus on one of the royal stars of integrity, the question does not land like a punch. It lands like a key.
This past weekend I had a dream I was in a small two engine air plane, and we were at full altitude. In my hand was a key. On my left was a lock. I tried the key, and it turned and OPENED!

Then another lock appeared. I tried the key again, and it OPENED!
And a third lock appeared. I started to wonder if I would see the open sky if I went through one more door. Trusting my intuition as it said, “all is well” I turned the key in this final lock, and behold! It opened.
And then I was rocketed into another dimension and woke up.
May the Source of all wisdom bring a proper interpretation.
The Sun in Gate 24: The Gate of Return
The Sun is transiting Gate 24 this week: the Gate of Return.
In the I-Ching, this is the moment after the storm when the traveler comes home. Not because everything is perfect. Because the wandering is complete for now, and it is time to rest, to integrate, to let what happened actually land.
Gate 24 is not passive. It is the quiet work of making sense of things. I have this gate activated eight times in my Human Design. I compare it to a cow who just keeps chewing and chewing and then suddenly the micronutrients or the flash of insight just….opens up. The entrepreneur who sits down after a launch and finally lets herself feel what happened. The parent who, after weeks of just surviving, has a moment to actually breathe and think: okay. What did we learn?
This gate says: you do not have to be in motion to be doing something real. Sometimes the most important work is the work of return. And sometimes that work is best done in silence.
What are you returning to this week? What did the last few weeks teach you that you have not yet had space to receive?
The Earth in Gate 44: Coming to Meet
While the Sun is in Return, the Earth grounds us in Gate 44: Coming to Meet.
This gate is about recognizing patterns. About noticing what keeps showing up, what keeps working, what your history is actually trying to tell you. Gate 44 has a long memory. It does not forget what has been tried before. It uses that memory as wisdom, not as weight.
The Earth is where we are supported this week. And the support is this: look at what is already working. You do not need to start something new right now. The soil does not need to be ploughed, nor sown new seeds this week. Don’t rip all the little plants you placed there earlier, either! Your field needs water, sunlight, prayers, and love. It needs tending. It needs someone to walk the rows of what is already growing and say: this. This is good. Look at this.
That is your assignment from the Earth this week, with a touch of gratitude.
A Word from the Hebrew Calendar
We just entered the month of Iyar in the Hebrew calendar. The name Iyar is an acronym for a phrase that translates: G-d is my healer.
The ancient wisdom did not choose that name casually. Iyar arrives every year in this exact season, between the liberation of Passover and the revelation of Shavuot. It is the month of the journey, yes. But more than that, it is the month where the wounds that were uncovered in the leaving get to be tended.
You cannot heal what you have not yet seen. The last few weeks may have surfaced some things. Some old patterns. Some tender places. Some truths you have been keeping quiet even from yourself.
Iyar says: good. Now we bring them to Source.
Not to fix them yourself. Not to push through them. To offer them up. To let something larger than your own effort do the work that effort alone cannot do.
This is a week for that kind of offering. Light a candle to say goodbye if that is your practice. Write it down. Say it out loud in a quiet room. However you pray or release or surrender: this is the week for it.
The fields are deep right now. And many things are being revealed. Not to overwhelm you. To heal.
For the Entrepreneur: Harnessing What Is Already Yours

The leadership skill in season is Harnessing Energy: the art of recognizing what is already in motion and tending it well. Not launching. Not starting over. Not pivoting.
Noticing.
What is already working in your business that you have been too busy to celebrate? What client result, what piece of content, what quiet win has happened in the last month that you moved past too quickly?
Gate 44 is asking you to look back with the eyes of someone who trusts what they have built. Gate 24 is asking you to receive what the last season taught you before you rush into the next one.
This is not a week to add more. This is a week to recognize what is already here.

I want to come back to where we started.
Take a breath.
The last few weeks asked a lot of us. The skies were heavy, the themes were big, and a lot of us were holding things we did not fully have language for yet. That was real. You are not imagining how much has shifted.
And now: spring rain. That particular smell that comes after a hard storm when the air finally clears and everything feels possible again and the ground is soft enough to receive something new.
That is this week.
Say a few words of gratitude today for what made it through. For what you learned. For who you are becoming. You do not have to have it all figured out to be grateful for the journey.
Let your shoulders drop.
The fields are deep. Many things are being revealed. And the one doing the revealing is on your side.
