The Cosmic Rhythm for the Week of July 20–26, 2026

My Grandma Betty passed away this week. She was 98. When I was seven, she is the one who first showed me that a spiritual connection could be personal and open: not something we perform, not something we borrow from someone else’s version of it. This whole forecast is dedicated to her.

I’m telling you that before we get anywhere near the planets, because this week is built around exactly what she gave me. Something real outliving the person who handed it to us. And since none of us share a birth chart, the room each of these actors is walking through is a different room for each of us: your houses aren’t mine. So watch what the actors are doing this week, and drop it into whatever part of your life it’s actually landing in.

A cosmic theater split between golden Leo light and cool Aquarian blue, as an elderly hand passes a glowing flame to a younger hand beneath stars and planets, symbolizing spiritual inheritance, transformation, and the astrology forecast for July 20–26, 2026.

MONDAY

Picture the stage split down the middle. On one side: Jupiter, dressed head to toe in Leo’s costume this year. Gold everywhere. A cape that’s a little too long for the room. Arms already flung wide for the standing ovation before the scene has even started. Jupiter wants bigger. Jupiter wants louder. Jupiter wants the whole balcony on its feet.

On the other side: Pluto, in Aquarius’s costume, which isn’t flashy at all. No cape. Just a cold blue work light, a clipboard, and file boxes stacked to the ceiling. Pluto in Aquarius doesn’t audit our secrets the way it does in other signs. It audits the system. The rules of the room. Who’s actually holding the microphone, who decided that, and whether the decision still makes sense for anyone standing here now.

Today these two stand toe to toe, exact, and neither one blinks. Jupiter wants us to walk out and take up more space. Pluto wants to know if the stage we’re walking onto was ever built to hold us, or if we’ve just been performing gratitude for a stage that was rigged before we got there.

This is also the exact day the South Node exits wearing Regulus pinned to its collar: the star of kings, sewn right into the costume of what’s leaving. Old ego-driven leadership doesn’t get dragged off stage today. It gets asked, politely but firmly, to take off the crown and set it down on the way out.

We don’t have to fix anything today. We just have to stop defending a version of ourselves that’s already finished its time up front and center.

TUESDAY

The Moon steps into Scorpio’s costume tonight: trench coat, low light, a flashlight held at exactly the wrong angle to let anyone hide. Scorpio doesn’t make small talk, and it isn’t interested in the polished version of events. If Monday cracked the set open, Tuesday is the day we actually walk through and look at what fell out. What have we been performing versus what’s real. Good day to write the true version of something somewhere nobody else will read it yet.

WEDNESDAY

The Sun changes into Leo’s costume today: the crown, the spotlight-catching fabric, the entrance that makes the room look up before a word is said. If you’ve got Leo prominent in your own chart, happy solar return. But the Moon is still in Scorpio’s trench coat underneath all that shine, so we’re being asked to let the performance and the honesty share the same stage instead of picking one. We can be lit up and still be telling the truth. Those aren’t opposites.

Curious about the specific gate the Sun is activating this week? Gate 56 is live on the blog now.

THURSDAY

Mercury finally turns around today after three weeks walking backward through Cancer’s costume: slippers, a phone pressed to one ear, checking in on everyone’s feelings before it will let a single message out the door. It’s been the courier retracing its own steps, double-checking every delivery. Now it faces forward again.

The Sun also squares Chiron today: the old wound wearing Taurus’ costume now, work gloves on, hands still testing the soil to see how much it’s safe to trust. That square tends to press right on the oldest question we carry: are we even allowed to take up this much space. We don’t have to answer that today. We just have to notice it’s there, and keep walking forward anyway.

Today’s also the last natural window for the Mercury Retrograde in Cancer ebook: once Mercury walks forward tonight, the season it was written for walks forward with it. If you’ve been meaning to grab it, this is the day.

FRIDAY

The Moon changes into Sagittarius’ costume and the whole set exhales: hiking boots, a half-packed bag, a map it has no intention of actually following. After several days in the deep end, Friday wants motion, appetite, a little bit of nerve. Good day to say the thing out loud that we’ve been rehearsing in our heads for two weeks. Not because the fear disappears, but because Sagittarius is better at moving through fear than sitting still with it.

SATURDAY

Neptune and Pluto settle into an easy, generational alignment today, and for one scene, the mystic and the auditor are working from the same script instead of opposite ones. Slow. Not loud. Real. Not a day for big launches or big conversations. It’s a day for noticing what’s rebuilding underneath the surface of our lives and our businesses, the kind of change that won’t show up on an analytics dashboard for years.

SUNDAY

This is the day the set gets struck and rebuilt. Saturn turns around and starts walking backward through Aries’ costume: hard hat on, clipboard in hand, checking whether what got built this year was actually built right the first time. Retrograde Saturn is the inspector who comes back through after the ribbon cutting.

And somewhere above the stage, the crew that’s been quietly rotating the whole set finally finishes the turn: the lunar nodes move, out of the story they’ve been telling since last year, into a new one. The new set asks us to stop hiding behind performance and start building something that includes other people, not just our own spotlight.

Eighteen months is a long time to hold one set. Betty held her version of faith without ever making it a performance, for most of a century, and it outlived her by exactly zero days. It’s still here. It’s still doing its work, in how I write to you every week. Whatever we’re building honestly, without performing it, is going to outlast us too. That’s not a sad thought. That’s the whole point.

One practical thing for this week: before this new set goes up on Sunday, close three loops while Mercury is fresh off its turn. Send the email you’ve been sitting on. Make the referral you’ve been meaning to make. Follow up with the person you told you would follow up with. None of that needs a launch or a strategy session. It just needs finishing what we already started, which is exactly what Mercury direct is built for.

If this landed and you want the practical, week-by-week version of it in your inbox, along with what it means for your specific business… the list is open. No rush, the door is open.
