The Silver Rises: Your Astrology Forecast for August 24–30, 2026

Gate 59, the Pisces lunar eclipse, and the refiner’s fire we’ve been standing in since the start of this year.

We have all had this moment lately: reaching for something, an old way of describing what we do, an old story about why it’s hard, an old outfit we used to feel like ourselves in. And finding it just… doesn’t hang right anymore.

Like we time traveled without noticing and now we’re standing in a new room dressed for a season that already ended. It’s not 2010 anymore. It’s not even last year anymore.

None of us have been asleep for this, though. We’ve had light breaking through for months. If anything surprises us this week, it’s less likely the sky’s fault and more a sign of what we’ve chosen not to look at.

There’s an image that keeps coming back to me for this particular week, and it’s a little on the nose for a Virgo season forecast, but I’m going with it: a refiner’s fire. We heat the raw ore, and somewhere past a certain temperature, the heavy stuff that was never precious sinks to the bottom.

The real silver rises to the top in a thin, bright skim we can finally see our own reflection in. That’s what’s been happening to all of us since the start of this year. This week is just where the temperature peaks.

The Sun is in Gate 59 right now, Gate 59, the gate that governs the gap between who we are and who we’ve been presenting. The Earth sits in Gate 55, Gate 55, the Gate of Spirit: trusting the current instead of fighting it. Put those two together and you basically get the whole week in two lines. Something in us is done performing. Something else in us is being asked to trust the sorting process instead of controlling it.

MONDAY, AUGUST 24: One Last Line Before the Curtain

The Moon is in Capricorn and void the entire day, so today isn’t for launching anything new. It squares Saturn, which just means: don’t force it.

Mercury, the quick one, the messenger, is delivering its final line in Leo before it exits that stage for good. It’s aligning with the South Node at the very last degree of the sign, directly opposite the North Node in Aquarius. Something that’s been circling since the eclipse back on August 12th gets its last word today. Let it finish the sentence. Then we close that file.

If something old surfaces today, an old client conversation, an old draft, an old identity for the business, don’t rewrite it. Just let it say its piece and leave the stage.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 25: Mercury Comes Home

At 5:02 a.m. Eastern, the Moon slides into Aquarius, and immediately aligns with Pluto (depth, no small talk today), squares Chiron (an old wound gets grazed, gently), and harmonizes with Neptune (intuition has the right of way).

Mercury walks off Leo’s stage entirely and into Virgo, its own house, the one sign where it is fully at home. It will live here until September 10th. And almost the moment it arrives, it trines Chiron: the messenger and the wounded healer, working together instead of against each other.

Today is a strong day to say the true thing out loud, to a doctor, a friend, a client, ourselves. Words heal this week when we let them be precise instead of polished. Good day for the direct email. Good day for the contract we’ve been avoiding.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26: The Blind Spot We’re Not Quite Ready to Name

The Sun makes an awkward, off-angle aspect to both Pluto and Neptune today, what astrologers call a quincunx, the kind of angle that doesn’t resolve cleanly. Underneath it, Pluto and Neptune are harmonizing with each other, which forms what’s sometimes called a Finger of Fate.

We come face to face with our own power today, and where we’ve been avoiding using it. There’s likely a blind spot in the mix too, somewhere we’ve been gripping control we don’t actually have.

The Moon, still in Aquarius, opposes Jupiter (too much, too fast, maybe), harmonizes with Saturn, and then goes void at 5:59 p.m. Eastern and stays that way overnight.

Don’t try to logic your way through whatever surfaces today. There’s a strong current of intuition available if we stop demanding the whole picture before we’ll trust a single piece of it.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 27: The Image Develops

The Moon is void until 3:04 p.m. Eastern, briefly touching the North Node in Aquarius before it slips into Pisces for the rest of the day.

And then Mercury walks straight into the Sun’s light. Exact conjunction, 4 degrees Virgo, what’s called a cazimi. For one day, the messenger isn’t just close to the Sun, it’s IN it, burned clean of static.

This is the moment the image finally comes up in the developing tray, the same one that was already on the film. This is a strong day for the clarifying conversation, the one about who’s responsible for what. The one where we finally say the specific true thing instead of the vague nice thing.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28: Where the Fire Peaks

At 12:18 a.m. Eastern, the Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse arrives, partial, and it is the closing chapter of a Virgo-Pisces eclipse story that’s been running since 2024. Not the beginning of something. The end of something.

Uranus stands in a tight square to both the Sun and this Moon: sudden, electric, a little Promethean, showing up whether we’re braced for it or not. This is the moment in the refiner’s fire where the heat peaks and the separation happens. The dross sinks. The silver rises.

We’ve had six months of light breaking through the cracks, so whatever surfaces today should land less like a shock and more like: oh. I already knew that. I’ve just been waiting for someone else to say it first.

The Moon goes void at 12:18 p.m. Eastern and stays void into Saturday. Mercury and the Sun both square Uranus too, so plans might shift, information might arrive sideways, a piece of tech might glitch at the worst possible moment.

This is not a day to force a decision. It’s a day to witness what’s true and let it be true, without immediately restructuring our whole life around it before lunch.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29: The Skim Settles

The Moon stays void through the morning, then finally clears Pisces and starts moving again. Expect some carryover tiredness. The fire’s been burning. Rest is earned, not optional.

Venus, in Libra, opposes Pallas in Aries: the goddess of connection and the goddess of strategy, facing off. If a relationship or partnership has felt like a tug of war between what we want and what the smart move is, that tension gets loud today.

And this is the day the sky itself changes address. The Sun leaves Gate 59, the gate of the gap between the real self and the performed one, and steps into Gate 40, the Gate of Aloneness: real, sustainable rest, taken before we’re depleted, not after.

The Earth moves from Gate 55, Spirit, into Gate 3, the Gate of Ordering: the creative spark that shows up before the structure exists yet, which is a sign we’re beginning, not a sign we’re behind.

The Moon enters Aries at 10:38 p.m. Eastern. Let today be for rest that restores something real, not rest that’s just collapse after a hard week.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 30: Not Yet

The Moon, now in Aries, aligns with Saturn, harmonizes with Jupiter, and squares Mars. After a heavy week, it can feel like someone finally opened a window.

The Aries part of us wants to act immediately on whatever surfaced Friday. Give it a beat. A walk. A workout. Anything that puts the body back in charge for an hour. The insight is real. The timeline can wait one more day.

Looking ahead: on Monday, August 31st, Jupiter and Saturn meet in an exact trine, the only one of its kind this year. Picture the two elder statesmen finally shaking hands. Jupiter says here’s what’s possible, Saturn says here’s what it actually costs.

Whatever gets decided while those two are in agreement tends to stay decided. That’s where the silver we skimmed all week finally gets poured into a shape.
