Return the Overdue Books: Astrology Forecast for October 26–November 1, 2026

Gate 28, a Taurus Full Moon, and the week Venus stamps the return date on everything we borrowed.

We’ve all been there: on a call, we name a price, watch a face tighten, and hear our own voice say, “But we can work something out.” Then we hang up and feel a little sick.

That’s where this week starts. We’re about to find out how much of our business came off somebody else’s shelf: the price, the posting schedule, the voice that sounds like every other coach, the client who gets a different set of rules than everyone else. Some of it was a great read. Some of it has been on the nightstand for three years, running up late fees.

A woman stamps an open book in a mystical library beneath a glowing Taurus Full Moon. Surrounded by celestial charts, antique books, golden Libra scales, and a sleeping cat, the scene symbolizes Venus retrograde, self-worth, boundaries, and releasing outdated business beliefs in the October 26–November 1, 2026 astrology forecast.

The Sun spends the first five days of the week in Gate 28, the Gate of the Struggle, where we ask which fights are worth what they cost us. On Saturday it steps into Gate 44, where our gut flags things before our brain finds a reason. In between, a Taurus Full Moon asks what we’re worth, and Venus asks who has been paying for it.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 26: The Library Opens After Midnight

At 12:12 AM Eastern, the Full Moon in Taurus makes her entrance barefoot and radiant, then lowers herself into the one armchair she has refused to give up in years. Taurus treasures whatever she has already paid for, whether it still fits or not.

Across the room, the Sun in Scorpio faces her with his arms folded. Pluto leans over the balcony rail above them both and squares off with the pair: a T-square, three characters locked into one tense, dramatic scene. The Sun makes that square to Pluto exact at 8:11 AM, and Pluto lowers a ledger to the front desk. What are we gripping, and what does it cost us to keep gripping it?

Taurus rules money and worth, so those questions land on our invoices. Which offer have we kept alive only because we’ve already poured so much into it? Which price do we keep quoting out of habit?

Venus, who runs Taurus, is not even facing forward. She has been backing through Libra since October 3, glamorous as ever, scales in one hand, date stamp in the other, wearing the whole outfit with panache. She has an appointment with Chiron on Wednesday.

For me, with Leo rising, this Full Moon lands in my 10th house, the house of work and public reputation. LOL… the sky did not ease us in. Today is for reading the ledger, not rewriting it. Notice the numbers. Change nothing yet.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27: Taurus Holds the Door

The Moon stays in Taurus until 9:01 PM Eastern, one hand on the doorframe, in no hurry to leave. Then she steps into Gemini and starts talking, lively as ever.

Until then, the Gate 28 Sun has a cheeky question for us. Is this particular hard thing worth what it costs? Some struggles earn their keep. Others are overdue books we keep renewing because returning them means admitting we stopped reading.

Make the overdue list today. Five lines, on paper. Each line names something in our business that came off somebody else’s shelf: a price, a rule about what a “real” practitioner does, a tone we put on for the camera, a discount we hand out before anyone asks. We return nothing today. We just count how many spines we recognize.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28: The Date Stamp Comes Down

At 3:34 AM Eastern, Venus reaches the desk. She is still retrograde, still backing through Libra, now at 28 degrees. Chiron waits across the room at 28 degrees of Aries, also moving backward. He limps in holding a paperback with a cracked spine, the one we never returned because returning it meant admitting something tender. Venus lifts the stamp.

That opposition is the old tug between what we owe ourselves and what we owe everyone else. Where did we hand over more than we meant to? A yes that kept the room comfortable. A rate we cut in the middle of a sentence. A version of our voice sanded so smooth that nobody could take offense, and nobody could catch hold of it, either. A voice that never snags on anything doesn’t catch anyone.

Every library collects late fees. Ours get paid in resentment, and in that tight feeling when one particular name shows up in the inbox.

The Moon is in Gemini all day, which brings a talkative friend to the circulation desk. Good day to draft the message we keep rehearsing in the shower: the new price, the changed boundary, the no. Write it today. Sending can wait for Friday.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29: Feed the Librarian

The Moon keeps chattering through Gemini until 10:05 PM Eastern, then slips into Cancer, kicks off her shoes, and puts the kettle on.

Venus has backed up to 27 degrees of Libra, edging toward a trine with the North Node. That’s the stage door to the future, and she can see a glimmer of light under it.

The Earth sits in Gate 27, the Gate of Nourishment, directly across from the Sun, and it has a point to make: whoever keeps the shelves stocked for everyone else needs to eat, too, and could use some tenderness. Block one hour this week that belongs to no client and no audience. Put it on the calendar in the same ink we use for paying clients, and cherish it like a paid one.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30: Two Voices in the Reading Room

At 1:20 PM Eastern, Mercury (retrograde in Scorpio, and he knows exactly where it hurts) squares off with Mars in Leo. Mercury steps up to the lectern with an index card holding one perfectly aimed sentence. Mars, in his theatrical cape and with his pride on the line, reaches for the spotlight and the microphone at once. It’s a spirited argument, and a sharp line is coming from somebody. It will land harder than they meant it to. Possibly ours.

If Wednesday’s message is ready, send it before lunch or after dinner, and cut every “I’m so sorry, but” from it first. One clear sentence beats a pile of cushions. Gate 28 takes its final bow today, which fits: we get to pick this fight on purpose.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31: The Gut Gets There First

The Sun changes costume and strolls back out as Gate 44, the Gate of Alertness. This is the flinch, vivid and fast, that arrives before the reason: the inquiry that lands with a tight stomach, the collaboration we agreed to out loud and dreaded in the body. The gut hands over the overdue notice before the brain finds the paperwork.

The Moon spends the whole day in Cancer, shell on, which makes this a good day to listen instead of decide. Write down one name or one pending yes that gave us the flinch. Don’t argue with it. Don’t act on it. Just write it down.

Venus is now within a degree of that North Node trine, and she hints at the next scene: once we return what isn’t ours, the shelf has room for something that is.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1: Leo Reads Aloud

At 12:18 AM Eastern the Moon steps into Leo and the house lights come up. A few hours later Pluto, still on the balcony, stands directly across from her, and Leo is not going to whisper for him.

Leo reads her own book out loud, to a full room, in the voice she has, and she does not need to dazzle anyone. It’s the first of the month, so this is our turn. Say the real price out loud, once, to a mirror or a friend. If the voice wobbles, we know which number is still on loan. If it holds, that one is ours, and it earns an encore.

WHERE THIS LANDS FOR THE BUSINESS

We can do all of it without a rebrand or a launch. One returned book at a time is enough: the price we’ve outgrown, the yes we gave out of politeness, the want we haven’t said out loud yet. The worth was never on loan. Only the numbers were.
